For Parents & Guardians
How parents log in
Pasco parents keep up with their child's school life through the Focus parent portal (also known as myStudent) — grades, attendance, schedules and messages, all in one place. Here's how to sign in and get set up.
Get your parent account
Parents use the district's Focus / myStudent parent portal. If you don't have an account yet, request one through your school — you'll need your child's student ID.
Open the parent portal
Go to the official Focus parent portal for Pasco County Schools. Bookmark it so you always start from the right place.
Sign in with your email
Enter the email address and password you registered with the district. This is separate from your child's student login.
View grades & attendance
Once in, you can follow grades, attendance, schedules and school messages for each child linked to your account.
Parent vs Student
Which login do I use?
| Parents & guardians | Focus / myStudent parent portal — your own email & password, linked to your child |
| Students | MyPascoConnect / ClassLink launchpad — student ID & password (see the student guide) |
| What parents see | Grades, attendance, class schedule, report cards, school announcements |
| New account | Request through your child's school; you'll need the student ID number |

Parent Questions
Parent FAQ
How do I create a parent portal account?
Request an account through your child's school — you'll typically need the student ID number to link your child. The school can walk you through the sign-up.
Is the parent login the same as my child's login?
No. Parents sign in to the Focus / myStudent parent portal with their own email and password, while students use their student ID on the ClassLink launchpad.
Can I add more than one child?
Yes. One parent account can be linked to several children so you can follow each of them. Ask your school to link additional students if they're not already showing.
I forgot my parent portal password.
Use the password-recovery link on the Focus parent portal, or contact your school's front office. See our password reset guide for details.
